We're staying at the Parker. I've never been, but plenty of friends assure me that the spa {aka the Palm Springs Yacht Club} is amazing. And then I watched this video and was sold:
Very Palm Springs. "We believe in inner beauty, but ... do what you can on the outside." Design assistance from Jonathan Adler. What more do you need? Maybe a fire pit for marshmallow roasting, but that's about it.
How fun is the main entrance? Same pattern as one of my Trina Turk bangles {she's also a Palm Springs institution}. I definitely plan on visiting her flagship while we're in town, and her residential shop just next door. Last time I was there, I wanted to move in.
It's not going to be all that hot, but the scenery will be fantastic and frankly, I'd rather be doing this than courting wrinkles by sunning:
My sister-in-law will be joining us for the weekend - she managed to make it out on one of the last flights leaving NYC before the blizzard! My parents' flight to Montana was canceled, though, amoung 1,600 or so other flights! One of the perks of living in California {and the same will be true of living in Texas} is that weather very rarely interferes with travel plans.
I'll be posting some pics to instagram if you want to follow our adventures!
Happy Weekend!

Oh I love it there, I wish I was zapping off there this weekend, have a great time!
Looks fantastic! I've never been to Palm Springs but think it'd be a fantastic get away. I'm sure I can convince my husband to go with all the golf courses out there!
Have a great time!
Wooohoo! So much to celebrate! Enjoy every minute this weekend. I've heard fantastic things about Parker as well so I'll be anxious to get your report.
Lucky you! I loved Palm Springs when I visited and would love to go back.
It reminded me of the movie cocoon.....
