Storing the Crown Jewels

I have a small problem concerning baubles.  Namely, I want to get my paws on nearly every shiny thing I see.   And when statement necklaces became all the rage, that didn't help. Mind you, none of mine are terribly expensive, and a good number are worth more in fun-added than their weight in plastic.  But my magpie mind doesn't discriminate between real and faux, at least when it comes to fleeting trends.

I've managed to "organize" my necklaces with what was intended to be a men's tie rack:

And I ordered this earring hanger from Etsy to keep the big ones {as you can see, I'm a Kendra Scott fan} under control:

Studs and smaller earrings live in this ceramic egg crate thingy from Anthroplogie.  I wear these much more often than the big ones, a precaution I picked up after observing the lobes of women of a certain age.  Lesson: if you wear heavy earrings regularly for 30+ years, your ears may wind up resembling those of a Basset Hound.  Has anyone tried clip-ons?  I have a few friends who wear them, but I've never tried myself.

And then there are the bracelets.  I have no idea how to store these. The whole "arm party" trend {which I understand to now have passed, thankfully, as I was unable to move without sounding like a one-man-band while observing it} significantly increased my inventory.  Any ideas?  How do you keep these in line?

Stacking seems impractical, since it's impossible to remove the one you want without upsetting the entire pile.  Hanging from one of those jewelry "trees" looks messy, as you can see above.  Despite the appearance of the above bracelet tray, I generally prefer to eschew messes.  At this point, I'm thinking that significantly downsizing the collection is the only way to go.  Unless you, wise bloggers and friends, have any other ideas?

I'm off to order one of those earring hanger things immediately. I also have that egg crate and love it so much. Which is kind of a crazy feeling for something that holds as many loose coins as it does actual jewelry.
